課程概述

• For students to gain practical experience of statistical consultation by participating in real case studies
• To provide students with training for communicating results of statistical analysis to non-statisticians
• To provide training for oral presentation and writing skills
• For students to learn how to efficiently conduct a statistical consultation

• Communicate statistical results to non-statisticians using plain language in oral presentation and written reports
• Employ a variety of visual aids in improving the communications during statistical consultations
• Obtain practical knowledge with regard to common errors and misconceptions in statistical consultations

 積極參與討論、評論他組報告。 
2. 
 口頭進度報告 I 
20% 
 每組有三次口頭報告，其中兩次為進度報告，期末為總報告。每組每次的報告人數不限，惟每位同學至少需於本學期報告一次。於同學有報告時，口頭報告成績包含團體 (該組之整體表現) 與個人表現，各佔一半。同學未報告時，口頭報告成績則全由團體 (該組之整體表現) 來評定。

 期末書面報告 
20% 
 「期末書面報告」每組繳交一份，內容為該組負責的諮詢案件之分析結果與建議，請述明每位組員之個別貢獻，中英不拘，12 pt，單行間距，正文以 A4 紙張 20 頁為限，附錄篇幅不拘。
